Comfy clothes for LONG plane trip

Comfy clothes— check
Water bottle—check
ear phones—check (I’ll listen to soft music or white noise…can’t deal with ear plugs)
black slacks—check
black slip on shoes–check
sandals in carry on–check
Chenille socks for flight—check
Pashmini----check
Travel pillow—check

IPad with tons of books on it (that’s for Xiggi so he knows I’m using my IPad wisely)—check

Now just have to pack the rest of the stuff…electronics stuff (camera, chargers, etc) and the money and passport.

T1, make sure you bring a set of international wall plugs for your chanrgers.

As you know, while the chargers nowaday are good for either 120 or 240 V. The shape of wall units are very different from country to country.

Probably the most important (though rarely used) thing I bring on an airplane is a bottle of the nasal spray Afrin. If you start to get congested, are getting a cold (and sometimes you realize it too late), it can prevent sinus blocks and so much pain. Some types, the spray can last for 12 hours, and you need to use it if you have any slight congestion, before the sinus block starts. It is a preventative, not an instant pain reliever. But I’m getting a runny nose, starting to cough, and have to fly all week. I just checked to make sure I do have my Afrin. Must have been too much turkey.

Aloha, I want to have my toiletries with me because I’m going to be travelling for well over 24 hours. Sorry…worth it to have small travel size items with me on the plane.

Dad II…got the international plug thing already!

I meant to buy some airborne but I forgot!

It sounds like you’re all set. Have a great trip!

thumper1,

I’m excited for you, your H, and your D. You seem to have it all covered, so I’ll just wish you a safe, wonderful trip, and please give a report, either here or by PM.

Safe travels, thumper!
