Committed, should he still apply at other schools

The NLI has been replaced with a new financial agreements that are more flexible for the student athletes. And if something DOES change at the first school, having a second option, even without the sport, seems prudent to me. Teenagers change their minds all the time.

Sounds to me that OP wanted to clarify that applying to a second school wouldn’t get back to the first school or was unethical. Question was asked and answered.

Thank you for the response. This is what I was asking and your response is helpful. IF something happened at his first school I would like him to have a non-sports option as well (even though he would likely stay at first school even without his sport).
