<p>“We will NOT be accepting the Common Application this coming year. I’ve noticed a lot of misinformation on this board, and then realized that we never announced it. The Uncommon Application is the only application we will use for the Class of 2012.”</p>
<p>Unfortunately, this was posted on April Fool’s Day, so who knows if she was being serious or not? The note does sound kind of serious, though, and if it were an April Fool’s joke, it would be quite poor taste, considering the emotional stance most UChicago students have on this issue.</p>
