@JustaMom, that is fantastic of you to treat your company’s candidates with such respect and consideration! And, I so agree with you about feeling you’re emailing resumes into a black hole when no acknowledgement is received.
@kiddie, I most certainly agree with you! After a very good interview with two apparently very interested managers, my friend had a nice email 3 weeks ago, something like “Give us a few days as we sort through things.” OK. Now dead silence despite her initial thank you email, appreciative response to the the “give us time” message and a very polite, I-need-to-know-if-I-am-still-under- consideration inquiry. (She does need to know - another contract must be signed.)
