Communicating with BGOs

mom3boys … I know it’s all enticing when being recruited vs. doing the recruiting. Help your son to see beyond his ego and possibly a few bucks, should USNA not pay for an official visit. Once he arrives wherever 'tis he’s going, it won’t mean a hill of beans, IF he can swim. If so, he makes the team either place. And in 4 years, it’ll mean even less. What’s far more important is trying to determine where he fits. My point is don’t allow the official visit thing to steer the wheel with SA’s. Remember, they ALL get full rides. And they’re ALL delivered pretty much the same, a “nickel at a time”, as I believe the saying begins? So all this is about is courtship. Once married, it’s all pretty much the same aside from the opportunities and desires at the end of the 4 year “honeymoon” sort of …
