You point out Georgetown’s high number of applications as proof that Georgetown is the superior academic institution, but this is faulty reasoning. NYU had over 37,000 applications this year, but does that make them superior to Georgetown (or Wake, for that matter)? Hardly. Many students may prefer the urban location of Georgetown, although this preference is certainly not based solely on academic quality.</p>
