I am a gymnastics coach and completely appriciate the dedication and committment it takes. That being said, college gymnastics at the recruited level is not likely if you are a level 6/7 at this point but you could continue at the club level if you are still interested in it. Gymnastics will provide you with valuable leadership opportunities both if you coach younger classes at your gym and within your team. Additionally, the hours you train can be inputted on your college applications and will be appreciated. Go where your heart leads you, you are only young once. But gymnastics is a huge financial commitment for your family so be sure they are able to support your dream at this level of training and competing.
