If one is asking almost a million dollars for somebody to buy one’s house, you’re better off just not having plastic plants outside at all in my opinion because they look fake and cheap.
And don’t hang your string lights so low in your covered patio that somebody can get taken out by it.
To me it looked like they hung them low so they wouldn’t get caught in the fan. I think they could have made them look better but the fan is probably important in the heat.
Yeah, that’s how most of the rest of the people in the neighborhood use string lights. First time I’ve ever seen somebody set them up the way my next door neighbor has.
The bad neighbors we have had fortunately were all tenants and have all come and gone.
One was a smoker and would politely not smoke in his home but go outside to smoke in the backyard, where the wind would blow the scent to my son’s bedroom and cause him to wheeze and flare his asthma. Fortunately that family left after about a year. The family that replaced it is very nice. That family has since bought the home and gets along well with everyone.
(We’ve also since installed split A/C, so aren’t as bothered by scents and dust and pollens and other triggers for asthma.)
Another rental on the other side of our home had a couple that had some domestic violence issues (at least that’s what it sounded like to us and the other neighbors). Fortunately, after a year, they moved away as well and the people that moved in are one of our son’s best friends from college with his wife and now two young children.
