<p>WCAS can pretty much get whatever you want. If you think you’re popular and want to look cool, you should probably get a mac. If you have some sense and actually want to use your computer to do stuff, get a PC. Also if you’re not rich or don’t care about computers very much, get a PC.</p>
<p>MEAS, while some students pull off not having a PC, I trully believe that with some of the programs we use down the line, especially if youre a computing related major, you shouldn’t even have a MAC in mind right now. PCs are much better for brute force calculations. </p>
<p>If you’re in the arts related, it’s probably okay if you get a mac. Journalism, I think that there are some guidelines for what you need, because you run a bunch of hardcore Adobe programs that I don’t think Macs handle all to smoothly. So I would strongly suggest having a look at those rules. </p>
<p>Everyone else just get what you think is best for you.</p>
