<p>Yea I am a fresh now and I can tell you that as a male the types of parties your looking for isnt easy. Im a black male as well, and ive made a great amount of friends so racism is not an issue if you dont make it one. On the partyig thing, oh there are partie out there, bit you have to know people and know girls to even get in. Most frosh just go to other colleges (MIT, BU,etc) for parties. I like NEU made some cool friends but I would be lyig if I told you the traditional party scene was prevalent here cause its not. But optimistically, by the end of the year you realize that NEU isnt that type of school and youll get used to and enjoy the small dorm drink-a-thons.</p>
