<p>I think you answered your own question. EASC means you can’t apply anywhere else early. It’s just different from ED in that you can still apply RD to other institutions.</p>

<li>Just to clarify, I think the JHU clause releases you from the ED-commitment if and only if you are accepted ED, but not accepted ED-BME. If that should happen, you are free to apply RD elsewhere.</li>
