Macys did that- I use the account- just not the card. Was something like 2 yrs and 2 days since I’d last used the card and they closed it. Wouldn’t reopen it- wanted me to reapply. No thanks.
ETA- closed the sears card a million years ago when Discovercard opened and was supposed to be used instead of the sears card. Well, no more. They are no longer affiliated.
