^^Yes. My D accepted at literally the last day possible and got honors housing. Usually there is a HC facebook page for class of 20xx. Sometimes honors students also post on regular USC class of 20xx page. Try both. Some years it is open page, some closed group but just ask to join. That’s a good place to look for roommates. If you come to accepted students day, I think there is breakout for honors college which is also good place. D met her actual roommate at some scholarship events. They found their suitemates on FB. I don’t think you get to pick suitemates anymore as freshmen though.
