<p>She met with another SBCC counselor last week. This counselor told her to submit paperwork to get a review of all of the classes she took at a CSU prior to entering SBCC. She asked that she submit a course description from the catalog where she took the classes and a copy of her transcript. She was also told that she should speak with with a UCBS admission counselor, and she called her yesterday. She was told that the UCSB counselors actually meet with students at SBCC (within the Transfer Academy Program) and my daughter could bring all of her coursework and they will review it with her to determine how her courses may transfer.</p>
<p>From what I understand IGETC courses do not all need to be complete at the CC…I think there are limits but she is within the credit limits in that she can still get certified under the program. She was also told that the TAG program requirements do change, which kind of stressed her out, in that the GPA requirements can shift up.</p>
<p>Her biggest problem is the one course in Critical Reasoning but if she needs to take it again the UCSB counselor told her the other course she took at CSUDH will count as an elective class for which she will get UCSB credit.</p>
