Confused-What is the difference between TAG and IGETC?

TAG stands for Transfer Admission Guarantee, and is a program in which you receive early review of your academic records, early admission notification and specific guidance about major preparation and general education coursework.

<p>Bolded part isn’t true if you TAG to UCSD, they don’t review your TAG application until they review the normal UC application and you are notified the same time as normal applicants. They’ll just send you an email saying thanks for filling out a TAG application, we encourage you to apply as a TAG applicant, talk to you in a few months. Although, they’re ending TAG in Fall 2014.</p>
