<p>@Sockhermom Although it does not make sense, that’s how it unfortunately works. In order for things to fulfill IGETC requirements, you either have to take the course at a CC or get a 3 on an AP exam that satisfies one of the requirements. Also, I believe the CC verifies the IGETC and they send that verification over to the UC. </p>
<p>There is no disadvantage of TAG. Everyone can’t do TAG because you have to have a certain GPA to qualify for the program and you must maintain that GPA before transferring.</p>
