<p>Apply for the CAQ ASAP! It can take up to two months to process, and with the slow mail system between Canada/US it can be a nightmare… it was for me.</p>
<p>Once you have your CAQ and you have time, get the study permit at the Canadian embassy or consulate in your area… if you do it when you go through the border you’ll be waiting for quite a long time, unless you’re lucky.</p>
