Confused!!!!!

thank you all for ur responses.

combatbaby: i wasn’t aware that they need my birth certificate. Do you think perhaps intl students dont need that? I’ll email them.

beatlespwr: I got my acceptance letter around mid-February!! And i still havent received that big packet! I guess somethings wrong ther, I’ll let them know. And no, I’m not from the US. I’m a citizen of India living in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. I sent my CAQ forms in the beginning of May. Still havent heard anything.

rideltrain: I sent my CAQ forms in the beginning of May. Still havent heard anything. U said, “it was for me.” Does that mean, you’ve already got your CAQ? Wow, I must be way behind :O! Also, I hear that at the embassy they don’t issue the actual Study Permit, (but instead some temporary thing) and that it is issued upon entry at a Canadian Airport. So, im guessing i dont have a choice but wait in that long line.

clutterofechoes: I got my acceptance letter in mid-Feb, but never got those other books. But, I have dowloaded, the Welcome Book and the Pre-departure Guide from their website. But i havent seen the undergraduate programs book or the international student book. I guess I’ll email them for it. I tried calling the embassy here to find out whether I can apply while my CAQ is still being processed, but no one answered. I’ll let you knw when i find out. and as for this permanent code, its something McGill needs to get from the Quebec Govt. and before McGill can do that, theyve asked me for some documents. I think u’ll get a booklet on all that soon by post.
