<p>congratulations, yorkiemom! In my S’s case, there was no student on the interview panel at all. His major is rather new at SCA and there may not have been a Trustee scholar in his specialized major available (or even in existence?) at the time. The following year he was asked to sit on the panel and due to his class schedule and project commitments, he wasn’t available at the time they needed him.</p>
<p>In creative majors such as music compostition, they will most likely be interested to hear what his vision is for the future of music. Encourage him to express his enthusiasm (if he is, indeed, enthusiastic) for whatever his true passion is. </p>
