<p>I might as well pile on the Fall 2012 news about Colgate Raider intercollegiate athletics.</p>
<p>In addition to football, the women’s soccer team won the Patriot League title and the volleyball team is regular season PL champs hosting the tournament this weekend for the league title. Men’s soccer and field hockey participated in the PL 4 team tournaments too. A great result for the department and our student-athletes!</p>
<p>The sports scene delivers so much to the campus of 2900 students, 320 or so faculty, staff, alumni, parents and friends. Colgate’s rural and picture perfect setting is intimate and a perfect setting to enjoy collegiate athletics. With Davidson, Colgate is the only D1 college in the CC top LAC twenty- apart from Army and Navy that is… I have always wondered if they have as much in common with LACs given their size and funding basis.</p>
<p>Now winter sports are fully underway. We can all look forward to exciting ECAC ice hockey as well as the PL basketball and swimming seasons. </p>
