I know someone who was waitlisted and said they had 8100 apps for 525 spots and I think about a 30% yield. - so if my fuzzy math is right- about 1500 offers for acceptance.

I saw ConnColl had 9900 applications for class of 2027 ā€¦ w 38per accept rate ā€¦ had 555 enroll. Just fyi.

How do yall think ConnColl compares to Dickinson, Furman, Wofford, Gettysburgā€¦ and a couple of the the larger schools like Elon, Fairfield, Providenceā€¦etc.

Just trying to get this group take on some of the pros and cons vs ConnColl?

I think we need a lot more info on what youā€™re interested in. Conn is probably most similar (the most applicant overlap) to Dickinson or Gettysburg. My kid was going to apply to both of those if he didnā€™t get into Conn. Obviously, Wofford and Furman are going to have more southern students and warmer weather. Providence is a Catholic school, so that is different. I think the student body at Conn is probably stronger academically than at Elon or Fairfield overall. Some of these schools have Division I sports, which is a difference.

My daughter is signed up for the revisit day on the 22nd. Does anyone have or know the schedule for the day? We would like to meet with a professor while there but donā€™t want to do it during scheduled events if possible.
