Oh! :confused:

Mine had “bucks”, but most others here seem to have “best”. I wonder how many variations there are, and what led to this change.

Both were green.

No, we solved at the same time as we usually do. She usually finishes first and looks at where I am. That’s when she noticed I had a different puzzle. I’ll post a screenshot tomorrow after everyone is done playing today’s puzzle.

And @patsmom, since you seem to have a third version can you save a screenshot too please? (Share tomorrow)

I only had “BEST” in green. But “BUCKS” could have fit in blue. I did the puzzle just after midnight PST and thought the purple was a bit of a cheat.

Do either or both of you do the puzzle on the app? Or on a browser? Maybe it is a “refresh your browser” type of thing. Have you tried refreshing your browser to see if the alternate puzzle pops up?

I had Best in my puzzle.

(And was this the easiest day yet? Granted I solved blue bc it was what was left but the others were very simple.)

On iPhone Safari.

Great idea! I just did, and my “bucks” puzzle was replaced with the “best” version. So strange. It looks like the bucks version was replaced by NYT, but had been loaded into my browser for some reason. I always have that tab open. Both versions are marked #159.
