<p>If conservatism is really important to you, it’s probably worth noting that you can’t find a college much more liberal than NYU. The housing form asks if your gender is “male, female, transgender, or ‘no identification’” (or something to that effect). If you can cope with people who have unusual lifestyles that might not jive with your religious views, it’s a fantastic school with amazing people…and since it’s quite large, I’m sure there are some conservatives there. But do understand that people at NYU are very accepting of homosexuality, amongst other things that many religious people consider “sins.” You wouldn’t be excluded as a conservative, though!</p>
<p>well you’re looking in the northeast which tends to not be the most conservative place in the country. If you really dont want liberals around do not look at NYU, SBU, or Fordham. </p>
<p>deffinitly check out villanova or try looking up schools with a catholic denomination</p>

<p>Thanks for the info everyone. I was sure that NYU was liberal, but I figured I could find a niche of conservatives. I have been to Greenwich Village before, but I wasn’t aware that it was overwhelmingly liberal. I’ll be looking at Providence College, Stonehill, Salve, Loyola, and Hampden-Sydney, just to name a few. I’ll also take a look at some of those books Tiger. Thanks!</p>
