Conservative, non-religious college with Engineering?

I hired in Houston, and it was overwhelmingly known that GT is the better engineering school. It’s 4th in the country in engineering, for crying out loud.

<p>What exactly did you hire for? Is it possible that Rice graduates simply entered different fields than you were hiring for? </p>

This argument is like making the point that Princeton engineering is better than Cal Tech because it’s an Ivy.
