[] Teacher Recommendation #2: she was a horrible teacher and didn’t like anyone, but my math teacher left so I had to ask her I basically taught the class a lot of the time so I don’t really know how this one went.

[] Weaknesses: no math/science ecs, no physics or ap science classes at all
[] Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected: I don’t know…maybe they needed a clarinetist?
[] What would you have done differently?: more community service but it worked out well :)[/ul]

Other Factors: I needed a LOT of financial aid but they’re need-blind so I guess that didn’t affect anything
General Comments/Congratulations/Venting/Commiserations, etc: I was incredibly shocked when I opened up the decision…I’ve wanted to go to MIT for a long time so it was amazing. I guess this shows that you can overcome your circumstances and that you can succeed by following what you love instead of what you think others want you to do (a lot of people at my school quit band because they want to take more online aps). I can’t wait to meet the other admits, and for anyone getting ready to apply, good luck!
