Contemplating Skipping Calc 2 This Semester

I skipped class all the time and graduated with a 4.0. There are no rules about whether or not you have to go to class (unless, of course, the professor has an attendance policy). You tried it, and you find that you don’t need it.

The only downside is if he makes some sort of announcement about exams, homework, due dates, or anything administrative about the class, or if he diverges from his syllabus (in terms of what topics he covers and such). It doesn’t sound like his lectures are very relevant to what is on the tests, so there shouldn’t be an issue there. If you want to keep going to class, you could watch the videos ahead of time to make sense of what he’s teaching.
