beachluver: It’s not that hard for astro, especially at the intro and intermediary levels, as there aren’t that many majors. The intro astro classes, especially, are taken by a lot of non-majors to fill NSM requirements, because while they are serious classes, they aren’t pre-med weed out classes like intro bio and intro chem.

It’s also not hard to get into intro and intermediate sceince classes in other subjects, but if they are pre-med requirments, they tend to be more work than an non-major wants to put up with.
