<p>OK…hot off the presses… DS says he no longer uses Fung Wah because Greyhound lowered their prices to match Fung Wah (from Boston to NYC anyway). So…check out Greyhound.</p>
<p>D visited a Chinese friend at MIT and they went to a real Chinese restaurant and had dim sum. She also went to NYC a few times, this last time they bought student rush tickets and had front row seats at a B’way show for $26! She also just came back from Dominican Republic (interterm) where they demolished a house, started the foundation for the replacement, donated to the learning center, did workshops with the kids, and ate terrific, delicious, fresh-from-the-tree fruit that we have never seen before! (All this overcame the bucket showers and no electricity from 3pm til midnight. She can’t wait to go back senior year!)</p>
<p>D also has just snagged the dept. chair as her advisor, a person whose curriculum vitae goes on for miles. Does the man ever sleep? And, yes, he has a family! He has even been nominated for an Emmy, has just completed the first chapter of Don Quixote in Spanglish, has been awarded Chile’s Presidential award. Talk about networking! I can’t wait to see what follows!</p>
