definitely UPENN :)

then Brown & Columbia for sure.

definitely UPENN :)

then Brown & Columbia for sure.

You all know Brown is the best.

Brief comparison:

Me, compared to meddo
Poseur, compared to ChoklitRain

obviously, the former prove that eastafro is wrong and Brown is more excellent

Hey maple, apparently you’re a hipster.

UPENN is the best ivy…duh!!!
(I’m totally unbiased…LOL:))

^^ I think they would be offended to have me amongst their ranks

Insightful thread

Cornell is the most gorge-ous.

Penn’s the party Ivy, don’t even try guys.
You just can’t keep up…
I love Yale as well, though. I’ll always have a soft spot for Yale. No real reason, I just do.

they broke my heart :'(

So so far (only counting people that singled out one coolest ivy):

Brown: 6
Cornell: 1
Dartmouth: 1
Princeton: 1
U-Penn: 1

UPenn duh! Social Ivy ftw! plus there aren’t so many freakin hipsters as there are at Brown.

Brown is the ivy that interests me the most, but I cannot speak from any experiences.

Columbia.

Can’t go wrong with New York.

But even you do have experiences, you’d probably be rather biased (not many people have actually experienced being at every Ivy right?).
It’s hard, I’d say Brown, Yale and Columbia :)

Columbia is the intelectual ivy not the cool ivy. Fact not opinion :)

Brown , without doubt.
Then Yale and Columbia.

Cornell? LOL its the ivy with the unhappiest students and the highest suicide rate. And, the coolest ivy definitely cant be in the middle of nowhere aka Ithaca!

Brown then Yale. Haven’t actually attended either though… Yet ;)

Aj1410…Have you ever visited Cornell? What would ever make you think that students are miserable? You are showing your ignorance when you state anything about the suicide occurances so hopefully you will attend college and learn something about math and statistics. Your posts is obviously misguided and I will chalk it up to another highschool kid who knows nothing about Cornell.

aj410, from what i’ve read, cornell’s suicide rate is right at the nation’s average. above average would be schools like MIT. it’s just that people tend to remember recent events, and last year’s suicides were very well publicized. besides that year though, cornell was doing fine. the fact that they happen over spectacular gorges and cornell is an ivy school only leads to more news coverage than if it were just a drug overdose at the local community college.

and i’m going to assume that you think the students are the unhappiest because you think the suicide rate is high. even if it were high, that would not mean the average student is unhappy; one word: outliers.

at any rate, if i commit suicide next year or in the upcoming years i’ll be sure to get back to you =)

also, from what i’ve seen, ithaca looks awesome. great college town from what i’ve seen and heard. the middle of nowhere is fine with me. i’ll take that over NYC any day. much more tightly-knit student body is what ‘middle of nowhere’ screams to me. great gorges, great natural environtment. the buildings at cornell aren’t bad either. there’s something for everyone at cornell from what i’ve seen. we’ll see

Got that covered for you.
