Coop

sfehonda, let me just add…the coop students I hear about are making from $13-$20 per hour…but pay attention to what scansmom is saying. My son is on coop now. He is bringing home about $1200 per month but he is still living in the dorm and on a meal plan. He isn’t necessarily saving a lot for the next tutition by doing a coop.
If your hometown is in an area where there is a lot of business/industry and you and your parents think it would work for you to live at home during your coop then obviously you will be able to save more of your coop salary.
Also, if you are on coop say spring and summer one of your sophomore year you will be paying half tution, taking classes and living in the dorm for summer two so there will be that expense to figure in.
