I had one too, but not from Cornell, and is also still in school anyway, like @blevine’s
re #10, I had that “back to college days” experience when we did a Cornell Adult University program; They dormed us in Donlon.
We survived, but suffice it to say that sometimes college days are best left in college. IMO. Not every experience benefits from being re-lived.
Moreover, air conditioning may be mostly unnecessary during the school year, but it would be a nice touch come summer ! And maybe sometimes during graduation weekend too.
(BTW the adult university program was great anyway, I recommend it)
A sorority house room might be better than a dorm room though.
Also, for those families contemplating staying in the dorms for graduation, if you wind up in West campus make sure everyone in your party can tackle Libe Slope.
