mine says 12
@BluLegacy Yes, but like others have said, it isn’t a guaranteed rejection if it doesn’t update.
Hang in there!
i remember last week mine said “april 14th at 10am” and at around 1-2pm on monday, april 13th it changed to april 21st.
@trnsfrstdnt Same thing happened to me, pushed back a week.
i’m little bit confused. if the decision will be released on 4/21/2015 12AM, does that mean midnight? in about 9 hrs?
Yes! At midnight!
@transferboy92 @udontknow Are you guys CALS? If so…I think they weren’t originally doing it this way, but too many people contacted Cornell about this I’m sure making them aware that we knew what they were up to, lol. Thus probably throwing in more acceptances this week.
Just got updated to 12 AM…oh boy
Whoa that’s pretty weird… Do colleges ever give decisions at midnight? Mine still says 10 am, not sure if that’s a good thing or not
it’s probably a system error and will be changed to 10am tmrw in the following hour or two. that’s what happened with mine last week.
@hitherebuddy mine is still at 10am. The ratio seems pretty drastic.
I have reason to believe that midnight is acceptances, and 10am is rejections…
For ILR students, do we get notified through a portal or do we wait for Ian’s phone call? International student here
Thanks! Good luck everyone!
@BluLegacy Yes, i’m an AEM applicant
@BluLegacy what’s your reason?
When I had contacted them, they said a few people had already contacted them about the same thing…As a result, I really believe they’re trying to mix it up this year and throw much more acceptances on 4.21 this year so the ratio doesn’t look completely daunting.
@BluLegacy Not really, I’m an international student and applied for FA, which significantly diminished the chance of getting in. I don’t even have any fascinating extracurricular activities… except for serving in foreign army for 2 years. I’m really nervous too…
*diminishes
Well, my first reason is there seems to be a complete mismatch between what is said and what exactly is happening. First and foremost, this is a rolling admissions process, but a large portion of the applicants–that were accepted–reported that they had just got their info in a week or two before either the deadline or their decision date. On the other hand, there are various applicants who submitted their stuff in mid-February that don’t even have a PIN yet…
But @transferboy92 , didn’t you say you got a trans eval update?
