It’s very odd… Obviously some domestic applicants are also able to view their decisions at 12 AM.
@puncherkid yeah I know. I’m just not sure if that’s a good sign or not. I’m just happy that this waiting is about to end! btw did you also apply to Brown? I think I saw you on Brown transfer thread.
Unless they are, as someone mentioned, sending decisions based on the time differences, then i can see how 12am makes sense. Although according to another user, the admissions office did state that the decision portal is not all that accurate. Decisions can still be pushed back
@xs0857 Like you?
@transferboy92 Yes! Actually I also apply to Uchicago, Upenn, Brown, WUSTL, Emory, UVA, NYU.
I don’t think it will get pushed back. The office is already closed. Anyway, nothing will change the fact that a final decision has been made.
No, rendervous just said she/he is not an international applicant.
Why bother making speculations at this point? All we have to do is wait for the decision, and then accept the fact.
Are tomorrow’s decisions mostly for CALS? Any CAS folks receiving their decisions here?
It’s truly meaningless to make any postulation at this point(as most people agree), but I just wanted to thank everyone for reminding me that there are many students who aspire and thrive to succeed academically! Seeing everyone’s enthusiasm has been beyond pleasing! Anyways, wish you the best luck!
will every single ILR accepted student get a phone call? are there that few accepted students that they’re able to call every one? How do you guys know that there’s a phone call??
also does anyone know if my application has been forwarded to review but they dont have my midterm report yet, is that really bad?
good luck guys!
Since last week that i have been lurking in this forum, you have consistently made it your mission to impose all sorts of negative energy and attitude towards the decision dates. Please, there are applicants in this page as hopeful as yourself that are hoping for the best outcome and seeing your comments only adds anxiety and worry-- things not needed at this point in time.
@cawledgeobsessed They’ll contact you for missing documents I guess.
Is there any CAS applicants hearing back tomorrow?
Rendervous
@transferboy92 I too am a South Korean applicant and one of the lucky three who got the transeval updated. looking forward to transferring from community college in NY after finishing deadly high school in Korea!
I think that until we get an official email from Cornell saying a decision has been made, we will know for sure that there is actually a decision on file. Any other means, as of right now, are based on loop holes in the system. Though, we will have to wait until 12am to see if those who were due for a decision actually got one. If so, good luck to everyone whose decision will be allegedly available at 12am!
@badooki good to hear that your transeval was updated! I went to a high school in Norther Virginia area and ended up at a university in DC I went to the Korean Army after freshman year. I just got back to the States last summer. I got rejected from AEM when I was in high school, so I’m trying one more time! haha
Well, ironically the people at 10am that shared stats were among the least competitive…so I could be totally wrong.
Wooo, that’s unkind to say…
