Cornell 2015 Fall Transfer Thread

@jtranxferman That’s the thing though I wasn’t trying to be mean or an A-hole. I guess just realistic with myself. :frowning: I was actually praying one of you guys would get accepted, but now I know that you can only take what college admissions says with a grain of salt.

@puncherkid I am sorry to hear your rejection. I can update that every Friday since I started the thread, and will probably leave it alone when I am rejected, haha…

Did you guys receive an email letting you know your decision is available? Im sorry to all those who applied and didnt get in. Like someone said earlier, this just shows that we are all very talented and accomplished applicants, nonetheless you will all do something exceptional whatever field it may be.

@BluLegacy Well, I think it’s tough to say that. Statistically, 16% of transfers get in (common data set). And due to the sample size, I don’t think we can say with any certainty that there is a trend today (yet).

@UniversalSnip you havent gotten any emails yet either?

@puncherkid Thank you so much for your dedication to this thread. I wish you good luck in the future!

@puncherkid I’m so sorry to hear that. I remember being rejected from Northeastern my senior year and being torn up about it. But alas, you will go on and have a very happy, productive life. I truly wish you the best in life. Just try to be resilient and keep your head up, life has a funny way of working things out in ways we can’t even expect.

@sullen09 haven’t gotten anything yet!

Yes @puncherkid . I think I speak for all of us when I say thank you for being so committed to the thread

@bilbany12 nope, nothing. I’ve corresponded with them over various documents and the document checklist is all signed off but I haven’t heard anything else about my application

Have any engineers heard back?

Well, same destiny as others! Not upset for some reason, didn’t bring my hopes up from the beginning, not as hurtful to fall!

@UniversalSnip Hi, I’m in the same boat. What school did you apply to?

Thank you. Thank you so much you guys.

4/14 - All acceptances
4/21 - All denials (thus far)

Historically one CCer always gets in on 4/21!

@transfer2018410 College of Arts and Sciences

are there any trends for after 4/21? haha

4/28 week usually is majority rejections and May on is usually positive but closer to a 50/50 split.

@UniversalSnip hmm, I applied into ILR. I wonder what this means for us.

@BluLegacy does that apply to ILR?
