Cornell ED Class of 2021 Discussion Thread

@soulsurfer99 No problem. I’m sure you’ll do fine wherever else you apply. You just have to see the glass half full. Good luck!

Deferred!! I applied to Architecture so that was what I was expecting in all honesty. CONGRATS TO EVERYONE WHO GOT IN YAAYY

My D got deferred

Accepted CALS

Kinda bummed that I got deferred to ILR but still hopeful. Does anybody know anything about the percentage of acceptances from deferrals? Congrats to everyone that got in!

Cornell has not yet made a decision on your early decision application. You will receive more information within the next few days. Should you have questions, you are welcome to contact the Undergraduate Admissions Office next week at 607.255.5241 and we can provide you with an update regarding your application. Thank you!

@jionrubia Looks like all the AAP applicants here got deferred

@051066 My guess is that it’s roughly the same as RD for anyone (so 13-14%ish)

Congratulations to all of you, accepted, rejected or differed. It is a privilege to even apply to this school. You all worked hard these four years and you will be successful where ever you go. Please take time update the results thread with your stats. It will help the RD and future students. PLEASE PAY IT FORWARD.

ACCEPTED CAS! :open_mouth:

Blessed D was accepted to CoE

@nygirleleven, Sorry, post #1765 was meant for you…

Haha I sound like a total lame-o, but do any of you have instagrams or other social media? I want to get to know my future classmates better. ( I realize I sound super creepy but oh well.)

rejected
Little disappointed but not that huge of a deal
Congratulations to those who made it!!!

Rejected! It’s been a long way!

@sargamprakash I honestly think they only accept around 15 ED, especially as there’s only 60 spots for the B.Arch program.

Rejected, but I’m moving on because Cornell was just one of many great universities
Congrats to those who got in, and for those who were rejected, I am sure we will all end up somewhere we were meant to belong in!

Thank you!!! @HiToWaMom

@lulu0207 got rejected from animal science too… i thought you were quite a solid candidate.
