I guess it’s a bit late to join the thread, but I applied ED to Cornell engineering too. Got rejected lol. I know this was possible because i fall in the lower range of SAT 1 scores. Many of you have been accepted or deferred. Congratulations to all of you!! And just out of curiousity, could you all share your stats? Just want to know where I stand in the competition.
I really doubt that ^^ People who got in deserved it and I’m really happy for them. Already began working on the RD apps. One rejection isn’t going to determine my success

Rejected from Hotel School - definitely hurt because I know I had the experience and grades to back it up. My weakness is that I struggle with anxiety/depression and had to miss a portion of my sophomore year to go to a residential program. Disappointed to know that this could be the reason but not surprised.

It’s a bit surprising though because many students got in last year’s ED and had more or less the same stats at me. Wish I would’ve atleast been deferred!
@formatik ofcourse they deserved it! I know for sure I am on the lower range of scores so really didn’t keep high hopes. Hope they have a great time! I’ve been accepted to 2 other universities for spring which are among the top 50 ranked schools so I have other options but lol they aren’t ivy leagues.

Anybody know when financial aid comes out? (I got accepted CoE btw, beyond excited). Is it available already and I just don’t know it?
