At least 10 minutes after my decision came in I found out I qualify for cal grant and $44,000 at Iowa State
Does anyone know when or where to find out about financial aid info?
Straight up rejected… not even a deferral or waitlist. I just do not understand. My best friend was accepted to Dyson and I cannot even get into CALS.
Hey! Life can seem like the worst right now, but stay strong! There are so many amazing colleges out there and one college’s decision does not diminish your worth and potential.
stay strong this is not the end ! even my kid got rejected he was breathing Cornell and eating Cornell day in and day out his essay was the best i ever read ! His projects were incredible in Computer Science his work was amazing. Congrats to all the kids who got in. Those who could not make it. Life is full of opportunities you only missed this So dont break out !

To those deferred, don’t fret, chances are a fair amount of you will receive a “transfer option”; it is commonly referred to as a guaranteed transfer. There are plenty of details about this on other forums. Keep your heads up and I hope to see you all on campus someday!

@ta2001 gpa was approx 92.5 UW. Captain of robotics club, math league team, soccer team, tennis team. Founder of investment club, internship at real estate agency.
