A HS internship doesn’t guarantee anything. You can tell the whole world that you’re getting the job, but just saying it doesn’t make it so. Even if nepotism were to prevail, it would do so at the cost of your dignity and independence: you will be indebted to your uncle, and people will know that personal achievement didn’t even enter into the equation. And using affirmative action? Talk about a silver spoon with gold lining courtesy of the government.</p>

<p>You say the point of going to a good college college is to get a good job. And you seem to think that you already have this “good job”. So what’s the point of going to a good college? You HAVE this job lined up for you already. The way I see it, you don’t even need to go to college. Just go straight to your job and make the money you so desire.</p>
