I asked for an expedited reveiw early in the process, say april. They asked for my current standing grades the last week of april before may 1st, I did not get it to them in time so maybe this is why I am finding out later… it is just weird
hey so questino for anyone who can answer, when do they send out the email that your decision can be checked? do they do this like in the morning tomorrow? like if you didnt do the pin trick how would it work?
No PIN, and no response from the director of CAS admissions about expediting. Called again, they said there’s nothing they can do. They checked the status of my app, still no decision. I was told they are going to try to notify all CAS applicants by the end of the month. Hopefully I’ll be able to access my email in Ecuador (I’m sure I will in Quito, but not in the Amazon…). Meanwhile I’m going forward with all my Binghamton paperwork.
good luck, this is really stressful and I am sorry they did not work with you-so annoying @samantha42 this is probably a dumb question, but did you try pin trick?
Hey guys rejected
best of luck with you all going forward
How did you find out? @bobsmith5101
I called @yassgirl
I’m so sorry. I’m sure you’re an amazing, and smart person. I wish you the best in your future academic endeavors. @bobsmith5101
thank you! it was so hard to hear it over the phone, especially I really thought I had a chance and was a decent applicant. thanks good luck to you
@yassgirl
Also, what did you say when you called? I haven’t heard of many decisions being released over the phone. It would be helpful if you could give us your insight…
@bobsmith5101 Who did you call and what did they say? I’m sorry about that by the way.
I’ll be wishing you the best!! Don’t let this bring you down.
Okay, so many people are saying they called in to ask about when decisions are coming out. Who do I call for AEM?
What were your stats bro? @bobsmith5101
@panicattheapp i had the phone number of the assistant who talks with my admissions counselor a lot, she is who I sent grades to and stuff
“We were unable to locate your PIN. Please try again, or contact Technical Support for further assistance. To request your PIN via email, you must provide the name of the School to which you are applying, the email address under which you registered your account, date of birth, and full name.” still.
@packman012 I actually contacted Techincal Support for this “trick”
The reply is as follows: “Cornell now uses a different system for the decisions. Please contact the Office of Admissions to see how you can access your account at Cornell.”
Did anyone receive the pin from CALS? There is nothing updated for the majority right?
@bobsmith5101 Yes, I’ve tried the pin trick. So sorry about your decision.
AEM still no PIN. Called in and they just said every Tuesday until May 30th, so no help there.
