Any ECE applicant get their decision yet?
Any suggestions on what to do? I got into SHA today, but it also means I’m missing out on taking part in one of the biggest student-run events held at my current school. I got to be one of the managers running the event, and I know it will be great on my resume. I already signed on to partake in the event. And my GPA is pretty good at my school. All A’s. I know that Cornell is a place where it might be harder to get that good of a GPA, but it is my dream school. However, it is really far away from my home, and I get to lose the chance of running that event.
@jhong0811 The only thing that’s coming to mind right now for me is, is there anything else besides that one event, that would keep you at your current school? Do you see yourself having more opportunities than you would at Cornell?
Hi, just a quick question: Since I did not get any status update as of today, out of boredom and impatience, I tried to log into the accepted students/transfer students website and it worked. Now I’m wondering if this is a positive sign or anybody can do that, anyone experiencing/ed a similar thing?

@yassgirl Yeah, although I hope otherwise for both of us and the others who did not receive a decision yet, I start to think that it works for everyone with an ApplicantID.

@colucho08 I wonder what’s going on with CAS admissions. I know that we are a small sample (compared to the rest of the applicants) but why are we one of the last ones? I don’t know if it’s a good or bad thing…

@yassgirl I spoke to two admissions officers on the phone at different times today hoping to solicit more information from the second,and I was told that ours simply haven’t been looked at yet but I am reasoning that there may be disagreement in the admissions committee about whether to accept us or not, so perhaps they relegate us to the last round. I’m not sure what to make of it. When did your application go in, in its entirety, like you weren’t missing anymore documentation?
At least we can find comfort in knowing that our decisions will be out next Tuesday for sure, I just want to begin planning my life man.
