@thehoff007 lol yes thank you. I’ll fix that so I don’t confuse anyone
Does anyone know how many more waves there will be(And what types of decisions those waves tend to hold)?(Especially for Civil Engineering) I’ve been waiting a while, and while I haven’t been denied yet, I worry that I’m just waiting for an inevitable rejection.
@Aran888888 Hey buddy last years thread for engineers get decisions this Tuesday May 22nd. I’m sure you will get it. I’ve heard that more acceptances come in this week because they have been mulling over us and now they have to make a final decision if we re worth it. Just keep studying or play some basketball in the meantime!
does anyone know what the chances of getting off the waitlist are for CALS?
@hihi02 I’m not sure of the statistics, because there are too many variables such as how many are in the waitlist and how they determine whom gets off, whether the wait list is ranked ect. I also think that the waitlists are not only college specific but major specific. If a spot opens up in CALS Entomology, they would only consider Entomology majors that are on the wait list. That variable is the most important. CALS has a general waitlist, however it seems that within that wait list you would be waiting for a spot to open up in your specific major, not just the college itself.
At what time can we check the PIN trick?
Finally, the PIN trick worked for me! Getting my decision tomorrow
Pin trick worked for me as well. I applied to Dyson, but my transeval did not update so it is not looking good…
@mattmckenney7 Your transeval will not update until 12 midnight, if it’s going to update you won’t be able to find out until after midnight at least, maybe even into early morning. Best to check the financial aid transcript.
@lcn2018 I did not apply for financial aid so that won’t change, but I’ll definitely check the transeval again tonight. Thanks so much
Pin trick worked for me for Dyson, getting my decision tomorrow but no transeval update or financial aid update. Not looking good.
Hey guys so I tried the transeval page and i get this message:
"Applicants will be granted access to this page after receiving their official decision from the University.
If you are a current student or applicant who has received their official decision, and are unable to access this page, please contact cals_admissions@cornell.edu"
does anyone know if this means anything?
^^^^^^ I am SHA
No PIN trick today for me… Worrying.
@Aran888888 me too
I didn’t get my pin, how are my engineering applicants.doing so far?
If you didn’t get it either, it may mean that there’s no engineering-heavy wave this week. Maybe.
Any other Dyson applicants get their pins today or not get there pins? If you did, has your transeval updated?
Did anybody else receive a guaranteed transfer (transfer option) offer for the spring?
@Aran888888 im not an engineering major tho im an art major
