Cornell Fall 2019 Transfer Thread

I guess I have to wait another week :(. I seriously want tot be done with this whole wait. Good luck guys (who’s getting it tmrw)

@Optimistic_22 People keep saying initiated doesn’t mean rejection, but from what I’ve seen so far it does. Have you or anyone else seen otherwise?

I hope I’m wrong lol

YES! @mikeobrien21
There have been a lot of acceptances with FinAid still on Initiated on this and last year’s transfer thread. Which school did you apply to?

@Optimistic_22 that makes me feel better. I applied to CAS non-TO

FinAid says no “To do” information found. Does is say the same for anyone else? @drknowhow

Is there any CALS TO applicants still waiting?

@Optimistic_22 Yeah mine says the same thing

My Transversal says “Welcome!”!!! I guess its official!??

For all those whose decisions are coming out tomorrow try this: https://transeval.cals.cornell.edu/
Its the same username and pw that you had for your FinAid.

It says on Cornell Website (CALS/Dyson) “Credit evaluations are only completed for accepted transfer applicants.” So I guess if transeval link says Welcome then it means acceptance?

“Welcome” means acceptance, “We’re sorry” means rejection, and not sure what it says for waitlist. But it only says any of the above if your decision is tomorrow. Not otherwise.

@Optimistic_22 i am an engineering applicant and can i also use the site u posted above to check?

@Optimistic_22 & @kwu111111 I am an engineering transfer I don’t know if this trick can work for us. My Financial Aid in the status page keeps saying: “Inquiry access denied”

What a mistake! I was accepted to Dyson on April 23rd where I had to respond to their offer on May 23rd but I just saw that the deadline is 30 days after the acceptance. Did I lose my admission offer?

@BigHero what do u mean? Which site did u go to

I’m pretty sure all applicants can use that link. Either way, there’s no harm trying.

@kwu111111 I went to this site for my FA status: https://finaid.cornell.edu/view-financial-aid-decision-0

@Optimistic_22 mine says “Applicants will be granted access to this page after receiving their official decision from the University.” Does that suggest that i might not get a decision tomorrow? I am so confused

That’s not the right link! This is the FinAid Application Status Link: finaid.cornell.edu/check-application-status

@Optimistic_22 this is the one I used: https://transeval.cals.cornell.edu/
