  1. The sports commissioners for the NHL and MLB are from ILR. A lot of other Cornelians and ILRies have high rankings jobs in front offices of sports teams.
  2. I’m instate, so the selection process should be a tad easier.
  3. I like reading, and I heard the labor courses are extremely reading intensive.
  4. Good employment opportunities (it is an Ivy)
  5. Easier to maintain a good GPA than in other schools at Cornell.
    I think that sums up my main reasons.
