You keep saying, “it is interesting to me the only Ivy League school that feels the need to defend its reputation is Cornell.” I tell you what the problem is: insecure snobs like yourself post on the Cornell forums because they want self gratification. They are immature.</p>
<p>I know plenty of people who have been rejected/waitlisted at Cornell, but have gotten into Brown and Dartmouth, etc. The reason Cornell’s acceptance rate is higher than the other Ivies is because it has by far the largest freshmen class; the real indication of Cornell’s desirability and popularity is the number of applications it recieves – the highest number in the Ivy League.</p>
<p>Stop making unfounded, immature remarks about Cornell. Spread your insecurity and negativity elsewhere.</p>
