On the Cornel admission update web page ,it says "The Cornell Undergraduate Admissions Office has emailed first-year regular decision applicants regarding online decision notification” on March 26th, 2018. Has anyone received the email? What does it say? It supposed to have a link to the results page, but the email never arrived.
@bogeyorpar It says that they will send an email once decisions are released detailing how you can access the decision
@bogeyorpar that email was only to let everyone know the precise date and time of decision notifications (7pm est on march 28th)
Hmm, but if that email didn’t show up, tomorrow’s email won’t show up either …
On the application portal, it says “decision will not be posted on your Cornell online application status account, so please follow the instructions that will be outlined in our email to you.” If email is not coming, where would we go to check result?
Im pretty sure that email will come regardless if you get accepted or not
I mean our email server is rejecting anything sent from Cornell university. Don’t know why, but some university’s email always get bounced. Not even reaching the Spam folder.
Oh well, if the email doesn’t show up tomorrow, I’ll ask you guys for the link to results page.
@bogeyorpar if that’s the case, I feel like you should call the admissions office or something, since the email that would be sent not only contains the decision letter, but also an assigned pin that will be used to open it.
Man, why don’t they just use the same portal program that all other schools are using?

I kind of wish universities would tell you in your acceptance letter what specifically got you in. I would always be interested to know
I tried to login to Cornell’s financial aid portal just now and got this
“There is no financial aid information found”

I finally got my letter/ DH invite today. I’m assuming acceptance packages are also shipped tomorrow? Someone told me they do same-day delivery but I’m not sure.
if they did that it would be easier for other kids in the future to crack the impossible algorithm LOL
I tried to login to FA portal and it also says “Inquiry access denied”
Means they are testing their systems in advance of the release. Want to know how many errors there are, clean it up and release ‘good data’.
Means they are testing their systems and often that means taking it off line. Fix any ‘issues’ and then release as expected on the appointed day/time.
