Accepted earlier this morning CAS molecular/cell biology. Feel obligated to share since this thread was helpful while i waited for my decision.
rejected cas
To the people who were accepted: did your financial aid checklist change from ‘initiated’ to ‘ordered’ before you checked?
My Daughter’s financial aid checklist has not changed to ‘ordered’.
Hats off to Cornell for getting the first wave out now. This must be the earliest first wave in years.
For all those that did not get into CAS, remember CAS is almost as competitive as Dyson, especially if you are applying to a Science. Be proud that you made it this far and were successful enough to personally consider yourselves competitive applicants. I am sure making the decision to reject so many qualified applicants was not easy on their end and if space was not a limitation, a lot more of you (if not all of you) would be getting an acceptance. Lastly, I am sure if you put in the time, you will get in elsewhere, perhaps an even better school. Do not let a rejection from Cornell stop you from achieving success in life!!!
To all those that got accepted, congratulations!!!
@KelJ Congrats on your daughter’s acceptance!!! Hope to see her at ILR if I get in as well.
Hi! Could anyone give me an opinion or idea of if I have a chance of getting in, please?

How long do they usually take to release all decisions?
@DrewGonz19 Looking good, but are you applying for Spring 2020 or Fall 2020?
@hilareolas They release decisions every Tuesday so hopefully it will come out next Tuesday.
@sam577 It depends, it might go all the way until December/Mid-December. They release decisions every Tuesday until they have released all of them.
Fall 2020
hey guys, just wanted to update that I got rejected from CAS. wish you all the best of luck!
I forgot to send this earlier-- my application checklist didn’t disappear but the withdrawing option did. Does this mean anything or is it just a glitch?
Same for me. I don’t think it’s a glitch and it is probably because the decisions are being released already. The next round will should come out by next Tuesday.
my financial aid transfer transcript was initiated for the longest time and now it disappeared and says there’s nothing left to do. Any thoughts?
@M_51222 mine disappeared too
My transfer transcript is also gone
According to the fall transfer threads, if your checklist disappears, you’re most likely admitted; but, I won’t get my hopes up too much lol
I thought it was if it changed to “ordered?” or is it basically the same thing?
My transcripts to do list is gone, but a required tax document is still there

You can also click the search button and search “disappear.” Many students in that thread had similar experiences and got accepted. Maybe we didn’t catch them changing the status to “ordered” in time. I was in chemistry class so I couldn’t refresh my page as they were changing it.
