Cornell University Fall 2020 Transfer

Accepted CALS Food Science. Wow. Completely stunned, I thought for sure that it’d be a rejection based on the fact that the decision was posted this late. Congrats to all who got in, and to those who did not, this is by no means an indication of who you are or your worth. Always trust the process!

Did you receive email to invite you to the transfer students community forum? A lot student post groupme link on the forum, you can join one of those

You meant rejected by the Cornell or rejected by financial aid. I was accepted by Dyson a month ago, I haven’t get my Financial aid package yet, and it also shows “initiated”. if you are worried about you acceptance to Cornell, the financial aid status does not mean anything.

Rejected from Dyson. But got accepted to Georgetown McDonough. Tip of the day for everyone: always remember to always apply to many schools, cause I know many exceptional people who got rejected from many top schools yet got into others that are just as competitive if not even more so. Otherwise, you’re just shooting yourself in the foot. Best of luck to next year’s applicants, and remember: apply to many good schools. But for now, Hoya Saxa!

Does anyone know how to do that transfereval.com thing where you can see if you were accepted or not before they come out. I’m just confused about what to put for my username and password

Is there a groupme/facebook group for admitted transfer students? If so, can someone send me the link?

Admitted transfers - how long did you wait to get your transfer credit evaluation? Thanks!

I sent my final official transcript to CALS student services (including Spring 2020 courses), and then within the week I had my evaluation posted.

On another note, can anyone else chime in about how long they waited for the financial aid decision? One month seems awfully long.

Whose list is still there, still waiting here?

Does anyone know the final decision date?

checklist FINALLY disappeared today.

admitted CALS communication major

Rejected CALS non-TO. 3.8 gpa with decent EC’s. Not even mad just relieved to finally know. Congratulations to everyone who got in !

Admitted CALS communication major too~~Non-TO and international student.

Two weeks (and a day) for me. They’re issued every Wednesday, I believe.

Rejected from Dyson School of Business @ 11:30 today.
Community College 3.9 GPA.
Great essays.
One letter of rec.
Work experience and internship.

Boston University it is. Congrats to the new Cornell Dyson students!

Anyone received the welcome packet yet? It’s been a month since I got accepted and still nothing…

Is anyone concerned about the possibility of not living on campus? Housing is not guaranteed for transfers. In light of the pandemic will this result in a disconnect?

@coronation Hi my name is Ryan and I am trying to transfer to Cornell for spring semester. And if your fine, could you advice me, how you got into Cornell?
Please let me know if you would like to speak about your stories.
