Hi all, I have a question about COSMOS. If a kid has very average GPA, should he even bother applying? He is passionate about science, and has been doing research with a local STEM organization. Other than that no big ECs.
I believe it can’t hurt to try, rather than wonder what if. Highlight that passion and research in an essay! Maybe one of the leaders from the stem group can do one of the letters of recommendation. My son did cosmos during covid summer when it was online. Good luck and go for it!

Hi, I applied last year as a freshman and didn’t get in. I submitted my application on the last day and although it had the ‘complete’ status, underneath that it kept showing ‘Deadline Passed’. Did anyone else see ‘Deadline Passed’ under their status bar on the application portal?
