What I am trying to do to counteract my horrible test scores is to write incredible application essays that address my inability to take standardized tests (even though my weighted gpa is 4.53). Colleges like to know the reasons for lower gaps, test score, etc… A lot of colleges do need blind admissions, so they don’t need to know that you are rich. Some colleges allow you to send in recording or something to show special talents. You should send in a euphonium recording. If you try to do a lot of these things, I think you could have quite a good chance since colleges look at more than just gpa
