<p>The reality is that the people you are competing against for an appointment HAVE been successful leaders/athletes and top of their class in academics. They exceed at ALL of those things. PLAYING and EXCELLING in physically demanding TEAM sports is a big part of what they are looking for. Even if you do work out on your own, being part of a TEAM is what matters at the academy, not just how physically strong your might be. Your current resume is very weak in the sports category by academy standards.</p>
